  • Audience: Foster parents, caregivers, teachers, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, security guards (with OSHA-approved certification option), behavioral health technicians (BHTs), respite care providers, assisted living staff, and nannies.
  • Description: This combined course covers both CPR and First Aid. The CPR portion includes the Good Samaritan Law, complications of CPR, stroke, heart attack, CPR barriers, choking, and AED use for adults, children, and infants. The First Aid portion covers PPE use, shock, bleeding, diabetes, asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures, burns, poisoning, bites, stings, heat- and cold-related emergencies, and both internal and external injuries. Students will practice hands-on CPR and First Aid scenarios to build confidence in real emergencies. Upon completion, students receive a certification card.
  • Duration: Approximately 4 hours.

(Certificates for American Safety & Health Institute First Aid, CPR, AED, and BLS will be issued within two business days of course completion.)

  • Description: This CPR-focused course covers the Good Samaritan Law, complications of CPR, stroke, heart attack, CPR barriers, choking, and AED use for adults, children, and infants. Each student will practice hands-on CPR skills throughout the course. Upon completion, students receive a certification card.
  • Duration: Approximately 2 hours.

(Certificates for American Safety & Health Institute CPR, AED, and BLS will be issued within two business days of course completion.)

  • Description: This First Aid course provides training in the recognition and treatment of medical and environmental emergencies. Topics include PPE use, shock, bleeding, diabetes, asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures, burns, poisoning, bites, stings, heat- and cold-related emergencies, and both internal and external injuries. Students will gain hands-on practice to prepare them for real-life situations. Upon completion, students receive a certification card.
  • Duration: Approximately 2 hours.

Cancellation Policy

You may reschedule prior to your original class date. If you miss your scheduled class and do not reschedule within 3 business days, a new payment will be required.

If you cancel before your original class date, you are eligible for a refund, less a 10% administrative fee. Refunds will be issued with in 30 days.
