  • Audience: Foster parents, caregivers, teachers, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, security guards (with OSHA-approved certification option), behavioral health technicians (BHTs), respite care providers, assisted living staff, and nannies.
  • Description: This combined course covers both CPR and First Aid. The CPR portion includes the Good Samaritan Law, complications of CPR, stroke, heart attack, CPR barriers, choking, and AED use for adults, children, and infants. The First Aid portion covers PPE use, shock, bleeding, diabetes, asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures, burns, poisoning, bites, stings, heat- and cold-related emergencies, and both internal and external injuries. Students will practice hands-on CPR and First Aid scenarios to build confidence in real emergencies. Upon completion, students receive a certification card.
  • Duration: Approximately 4 hours.
  • Audience: Foster parents, caregivers, teachers, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, security guards (with OSHA-approved certification option), behavioral health technicians (BHTs), respite care providers, assisted living staff, and nannies.
  • Description: This CPR-focused course covers the Good Samaritan Law, complications of CPR, stroke, heart attack, CPR barriers, choking, and AED use for adults, children, and infants. Each student will practice hands-on CPR skills throughout the course. Upon completion, students receive a certification card.
  • Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
  • Audience: Foster parents, caregivers, teachers, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, security guards (with OSHA-approved certification option), behavioral health technicians (BHTs), respite care providers, assisted living staff, and nannies.
  • Description: This First Aid course provides training in the recognition and treatment of medical and environmental emergencies. Topics include PPE use, shock, bleeding, diabetes, asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures, burns, poisoning, bites, stings, heat- and cold-related emergencies, and both internal and external injuries. Students will gain hands-on practice to prepare them for real-life situations. Upon completion, students receive a certification card.
  • Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
  • Audience: Healthcare professionals and students entering the medical field who need an American Heart Association BLS certification but prefer a blended format (online coursework plus in-person skills testing).
  • Description: This course is completed in three parts:
    • Part 1 (Online Course): Participants receive a link from the AHA to complete the BLS for Healthcare Providers online module. The self-paced program can be accessed multiple times for up to 24 months from activation. Approximate time: 2 hours.
    • Parts 2 & 3 (Skills Practice & Testing): Participants attend an in-person session for hands-on practice and a skills test. A printed completion certificate from Part 1 must be presented at the session. Skills sessions must be completed within 60 days of finishing the online course.
      Successful completion of all three parts results in the same AHA BLS Provider card as the classroom version. Please note: Online courses and scheduled skills sessions are non-refundable.
  • Duration: Approximately 2 hours online + 1–2 hours in-person skills session (3–4 total hours).
  • Audience: General public and non-medical professionals such as caregivers, teachers, foster parents, childcare providers, bus drivers, respite providers, and community members.
  • Description: This blended course combines an online learning component with an in-person skills session. The online portion covers best practices for responding to a wide range of emergencies including asthma, anaphylaxis, burns, choking, diabetic emergencies, external bleeding, environmental emergencies, heart attack, poisoning, neck/head/spinal injuries, stroke, and seizures. During the in-person session, participants will complete hands-on CPR, AED, and First Aid skills practice and testing with a certified instructor. A printed online completion certificate must be brought to the skills session. Successful completion results in an American Red Cross eCard certification.
  • Duration: Approximately 1.5–2 hours online + 1.5 hours in-person skills session (3–3.5 total hours).
